THE FANDOM HIGHTIMES: Volume 4, Sixteenth Edition!

It's a strangely inbetween state, being a nearly-graduated-but-not-yet senior. I mean, in two months, I'll be gone from here, and it'll be harder to keep in touch with everyone, and I won't have classes or my nifty job at the gun shop downtown. But for the meantime, I do. So I'm trying to plan things for later, but I'm still here, studying and working and going on like that. In some ways, I almost feel like I just want to graduate already so I can get on to whatever's next ... but then I remember that i'll have to say goodbye to everyone here, and I start wondering if maybe I can flunk my classes on purpose!
Looks like there's nothing to do but wait things out, and enjoy all the time I have here while I've still got it, and then decide what's next. It doesn't stop me from being impatient, though.

Vacation All I Ever Wanted...
by Lee Adama
Spring Break has come has come and gone but, for most of us, it was a memorable one. A few weeks ago, over half the student body plus many teachers and their guests boarded a big frakking ship and set jail into the great unknown. The water was clear, the weather was hot, the sun was high and the drinks were flowing. What more could a bunch of teenagers ask for? I went to Mexico last year and, my friends, this topped Mexico by a longshot. Maybe it was the different locales almost every day or the fact that we were having all this fun ON A BOAT that tipped it but cruise 1, Mexico 0.
This article can't possibly be long enough to cover everything that was offered but it can touch on a few things. During the day, almost every student could be found by the pool or in a hot tub. Sure, we were surrounded by water but that wasn't going to stop anyone from lazing it up in a comfortable lounge chair. If you weren't by the pool and we weren't in a port, you were probably on another deck, hitting up the virtual golf simulator (which I didn't play) or shopping at one of the boutiques. Seriously, there were shops on the boat. Amazing. There were spas where you could get waited on hand and foot, restaurants that served from frakking amazing food and bars that served anyone who was eighteen and over. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for having me when you did. If we happened to be in port, there was a whole other place to explore. The islands were beautiful, some of the most amazing things I've seen. On any given island, you could take a tour and explore it, go dune buggy riding, go snorkeling, or just lay on the beach. Proving that Fandom is a fountain of energy, most students, again, chose to lay on the beach. Really, we spend all week working hard in school, we deserved the break!
And, just because night fell, doesn't mean anyone retired back to their cabins (which were bigger than some houses I've seen) to go to sleep. Nope, once the sun went down, the lights came up and that meant dancing in a club, drinking at a bar, eating at a restaurant or getting in a little night swimming. These sort of things usually lasted well into the night and some people (hi, Brooke!) didn't even make it back to their rooms. But, even if you (hi, Worf!) didn't make it back, you still almost always had a comfortable place to sleep. The lounge chairs on the deck were really comfortable and I wouldn't have minded napping there.
Unfortunately, the experience had to come to an end and, upon arriving back to Fandom, we were greeted with bitter cold and snow. Does anyone else wanna be back on the boat? Yeah, me too.

And I'm back with another edition of our irregularly-occuring column, How to Speak Al Bhed! I take requests, in case anyone wants to know how to say something specific!!! And now, for the Al Bhed!!
